April and snow are part of the change of seasons - as are tornados and April (although generally farther south - Oklahoma) - violent warm fronts hitting cold fronts with a vengence.
The good thing about April snow storms? It melts fairly quickly - and I also think they bring nitrogen to the soil (more than just rain).
